The 8 inch for the Explorer is
great for detecting areas of high rubbish
content. If two or more targets are located
under a coil at once, the discrimination can
sometimes be effected. By using a smaller,
more precise coil like the 8" coil, you are able
to pick up individual targets and accurate
identification of each one is improved. The
8 inch coil is very lightweight and ideal for
searching around hard-to-get-at locations.
